ResidentAI Chief of Staff
A privately operated, single-user AI productivity assistant.
ResidentAI Chief of Staff helps its single operator manage personal email and scheduling. It is not a commercial product and is not offered to the public — it has exactly one user, who is also its developer and operator. It runs entirely on private infrastructure that the operator owns and controls, using a self-hosted AI model rather than a third-party cloud AI service.
What it does
With the operator's approval, ResidentAI Chief of Staff integrates with the operator's own Gmail and Google Calendar through Google OAuth to:
- Read and summarize the operator's email, when explicitly requested by the operator.
- Create draft email messages in the operator's Gmail account, for the operator to review.
- Send an email — but only through a governed, operator-directed action: a specific draft the operator has personally reviewed and explicitly approved in that exact form. It never sends email autonomously or without the operator's direct, explicit approval of that exact message.
- Read the operator's calendar information, when explicitly requested by the operator.
- Create calendar events, when explicitly requested by the operator.
Every action happens only at the operator's direction, under governed approval.
Google account access is limited to exactly the user-facing capabilities listed above —
nothing more is requested or used. This assistant does not act on its own initiative:
it does not read email, draft messages, send messages, or touch the calendar unless the
operator asks it to in that moment, and anything that changes the operator's account is
gated on the operator's explicit, in-the-moment approval.
How your data is handled
ResidentAI Chief of Staff operates entirely through the operator's own private ResidentAI environment. Google user data it accesses:
- Is processed locally on private infrastructure the operator owns — it is not transmitted to or processed by any third-party service, cloud provider, or external company beyond Google's own APIs.
- Is never sold to any third party.
- Is never used for advertising.
- Is never used to train any generalized or third-party AI model.
